Educational Qualification Requirements
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing): Four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an HEC and PNC-recognized institution. This comprehensive program provides foundational nursing knowledge and clinical competencies.
- Post RN BSN: Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing for registered nurses who completed a diploma in nursing and pursued a bachelor’s degree. Must be from HEC and PNC-accredited institutions.
- Master’s Degree (Highly Preferred): MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) or MPhil in Nursing from a recognized institution will be given preference and may lead to a higher salary scale.
- PNMC Registration (Mandatory): Valid and current registration with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC) is absolutely mandatory. Candidates without active PNMC registration will not be considered.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 Years Experience: At least three years of professional nursing experience in clinical practice, teaching, or a combination of both. This ensures lecturers bring real-world expertise to classroom instruction.
- Teaching Experience (Preferred): Previous teaching experience at university, college, or nursing school level is highly desirable and may be prioritized during selection.
