- Option 1 – Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division): Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent 12th grade certificate from a recognized Board with minimum second division (45-59% marks). Must include a three-month diploma in MS Office from a recognized institution.
- Option 2 – ICS (Second Division): Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) with a minimum second division from a recognized Board. The ICS qualification already includes computer education, so no separate MS Office diploma is required for ICS holders.

- Recognized Boards: Degrees/certificates must be from boards and institutions recognized by the Government of Punjab or the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Private or unrecognized institutions will not be accepted.
- MS Office Diploma: For non-ICS candidates, the three-month MS Office diploma must cover Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic computer operations. The diploma must be from a recognized computer training institute.
- Minimum Marks: Second division means 45% or above marks. First division (60%+) candidates are also eligible and encouraged to apply.
